As the name implies, the Davinci Emily crib is designed to convert to different configurations as your child grows from infancy to youth. It starts out as a crib with the mattress level at the highest setting and as they grow it can be lowered to the fourth and lowest setting. When it is time for the big boy/girl bed it converts to the toddler size bed including the rails (mattress not included). As they get older it converts into a day bed and finally it can be made into a full size bed with head board and foot board (frame and mattress are not included).
